On Monday Kate Hudson looked to be cozy with a new star, as she shared a series of Snapchats from a romantic date with Houston Texans player J.J. Watt.

The 36-year-old could be seen playing with a filter that automatically put animated stars over someone in the video – and the athlete seemed a bit hurt it never chose him.

He confirmed the duo’s romantic outing as the 27-year-old bemoaned the selective filter, sharing: ‘Apparently the stars belong on the hottest person on the date.’
