It’s official, Carter Wilkerson has dethroned Ellen DeGeneres’ famous Oscar selfie for the most retweeted tweet of all time. He’s also got his prized chicken nuggets from Wendy’s!
Last month, Carter asked how many re-tweets it would take to get him a year’s supply of chicken nuggets. Wendy’s challenged the teen to get 18 million. He got some pretty heavy hitters to pitch in, and although he hasn’t reached 18 million yet, his new record has prompted the fast food giant to say it would give him the free chicken nuggets, AND donate $100,000 to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a Wendy’s-affiliated nonprofit created by the company’s founder, that finds permanent homes for children in foster care.
