Feb. 5, 2024, LOS AGNGELES ~ Taylor Swift made history last night at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards, becoming the first person to have won Album of The Year four times, in an evening that was dominated by female performers.
Swift and her album, “Midnights” also took home the award for Best Pop Vocal Performance, bringing her lifetime GRAMMY wins to 14. While on stage, Swift took a surprising moment to announce the release of an all-new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which she said would be released on April 19.
Also topping the female-dominated leaderboard was Miley Cyrus, who took home her first two GRAMMYs, including one for Record of The Year and another for Best Pop Solo Performance for her song, “Flowers.”

(CONTINUED) Other winners included SZA, who went into the evening with the most nominations and took home three wins, including the award for Best Pop Duo Performance for her collaboration on “Ghosts in The Machine” with Phoebe Bridgers.
Rounding out the evening’s top award winners were Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas for their “Barbie” film-inspired Song of The Year, “What Was I Made For,” and Best New Artist Victoria Monét, who released her acclaimed debut studio album, “Jaguar II” in 2023.
Female performances also dominated the evening, with a first-ever GRAMMY appearance by legendary singer / songwriter Joni Mitchell and a surprise appearance by Tracy Chapman, who performed “Fast Car” alongside Luke Combs.
