Grunge rock pioneer Chris Cornell, lead singer for Soundgarden and Audioslave, has died at 52. Reports say Cornell died at MGM Grand Detroit following concert at the Fox Theatre. Detroit police have said that he died from an apparent suicide. Fans across Metro Detroit and the world are stunned. Those at the show said all appeared normal Wednesday night.
The music world is also feeling his loss deeply.
