Ben Affleck wasn’t in full Batman gear but it didn’t matter when he surprised thousands of fans at Comic-Con. Affleck, who is directing and starring in the next installment of the franchise popped into a panel with fellow DC directors David Ayer, Patty Jenkins, Zack Snyder, Rick Famuyiwa and James Wan.

It’s pretty cool … Affleck has a “nerdy moment” of his own and snaps a pic of the crowd.
