Jennifer Hudson and the cast of The Color Purple put together their tribute to Prince last night after a show. The entire cast then took part in an emotional and rousing rendition of “Purple Rain,” with Hudson performing a totally awesome and heartfelt solo.

Around the block, the Hamilton cast took the opportunity to remember the legendary and truly unique performer, ending their show with an exuberant dance set to his classic hit, “Let’s Go Crazy.”
