This is a good palate cleanser before the inevitable deluge of “kids reacting to their Christmas presents” videos.

Courtney Solstad’s Texas family adopted a new baby boy, Nathan, this month. Her other children didn’t know anything about him, so, as she writes, “We met them at the door and told them that we had been out Christmas shopping and got them a gift to share… and it was under the tree!”

Solstad’s daughters are beside themselves with happiness, actually shedding tears of joy at their introduction to their new little brother.
