According to reports, British rockers Coldplay will headline the halftime show at Super Bowl 50 in February. The timing of the announcement  is good as  as the band’s “A Head Full of Dreams,” is due out Friday. According to its website, the NFL plans to announce one of the halftime acts during Thursday night’s Lions/Packers game. Bruno Mars will also perform at the show, sponsored by PepsiCo Inc.
