Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters performed an in-person version of the joke Friday by blasting the ’80s song at Westboro Baptist Church protesters from a truck outside of Sprint Center in Missouri. The band held up signs “YOU GOT RICK ROLL’D (AGAIN)” and “KEEP IT CLEAN” before they performed at the venue.
