Hey, I'm Lori and I am so lucky to get to be a part of 96.3 WDVD! (It only took a little begging and whining, btw) I'm kind of a radio "lifer" who loves all types of music and entertaining people. If we haven't met in one of my other lifetimes, I'm a native Detroiter, married to an awesome local actor and we share a home with a couple of kittens inside and a lot of neurotic wildlife outside. When I'm not working you'll catch me shopping at all the farmers markets trying to flirt my way into discounts (it rarely works), and teaching our one kitty to fetch (I have proof!).

What was your first job? I was a library "page" (shut up, I know). Enough money to keep me in Candies, all the books I could borrow indefinitely and the use of the "quiet room" to make out with my boyfriend in! <Sigh>. Best. Job. EVER.

What is your favorite TV show? "True Blood", "Glee", Mad Men", and Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" (do yourself a favor and follow him on Twitter).

If you weren't in radio, what would you be? Lady Gaga's stylist or Jon Hamm's masseuse.

Is the glass half-full or half empty? Depends on whether I have my martini on. Maybe if I close one eye….
Are you a different person than you were 5 years ago? Nope, still recklessly sarcastic and addicted to cheap hair dye.

What is your most embarrassing moment? Tripping over a mic stand on stage in front of hundreds of people at the Fox Theatre. Falling flat on my face while meeting hockey greats Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay at formal charity event. Having George Michael (yes that one) catch me before I took out his light board at The Palace. See a theme here? For the record, I wear 5 inch platforms or stilettos everywhere and still haven't learned.

What song best describes you? Based on the above, "Free Falling" Tom Petty.

Name one bad habit you wish you could break: Indulging in cheese. The edible kind and the humor kind.

What is your perfect pizza? I've never met a pizza I didn't like. C'mon, have you SEEN the size of my butt?

The world would not be the same without: Um, cheese and pizza.

What album do you listen to when you feel like doing nothing? Soundtracks from movies like "Pulp Fiction", "Trainspotting", and, okay, "Chicago" (and ah 5-6-7-8!).

What is your Favorite restaurant? Sushi Ko, 12 mile and Orchard Lake. Tell them Anne sent you (long story).

What movie do you HAVE to watch if you see it on TV? A tie between "Goodfellas" and "The Godfather." I was a "made" man in a former life, I just know it!

Have you ever cried during a movie? Of course, especially during "Love Actually", "You've Got Mail", and the scene in GF II when Michael says to Fredo

"You broke my heart" and through the travesty that was "Episode 1" of the most recent Star Wars trilogy.

Paper or plastic? Recycle bags! Just got to remind husband not to use same bags for transporting gym clothes … ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

What is your favorite place to hang during the summer? My patio, complete with tent and sound system. Yeah, the neighbors just love us.
